ARROBA Red wine...
Maximum varietal recovery: unique wine.

The grape used for this red wine, is called Pintaillo by some, Pintailla by others ... hence we refer to it as “pintaill@” (you should know that in Spanish the symbol “@” is called an “arroba”). This local variety is practically extinct and can only be found in vineyard plots mixed with other grape varieties. Its name is due to the fact that during the veraison, purple markings (or “pintas”) appear on the skin of the grapes. When this happens, we flag the vines so it will be easier to differentiate them by ripeness level at the moment of harvest.

The word “arroba” is also a unit of measurement that is frequently used in our region, and specifically refers to 16.2 liters of wine.

The wine Arroba is the expression of the freshest Manchuela, giving this wine a slightly pink color from its skin, along with a sleek style, with fresh acidity and subtle herbaceous nuances.

Natural White Wine of 100%, Pintaill@ is created using sustainable agriculture and traditional, artisanal production techniques.

Manual harvest in small picking boxes that let us select individual bunches in the field. Fermentation is carried out in small containers of 500 liter. After a gentle pressing and brief filtration, the wine rest sometime in demi-john and afterwards is bottled. Because Arroba is vinified without fining or cold stabilization, natural sediments may appear in the bottle or glass.

Arroba can be enjoyed by all kinds of wine consumers, including vegans and vegetarians.
