MAXIMAS Red wine...
Where everything started: our Barrique-aged Bobal

We made our very first wine “Gratias Maximas” in 2009 and it ended up becoming the name for our entire project. This name signifies the deep appreciation we have for the land and the vineyards, as well as for the many people who helped us early on and left their “oenological footprints” in our lives...which is why you see all their names on the Maximas label.

In this wine, we especially enjoy the age-worthy character of theBobal grape combined with complex oak nuances that evolve over time with proper cellaring.

The soils of these vineyards are deep, nutrient-poor and characterized by the calcareous clay typical of the Manchuela area.

Red Wine of 100% Bobal that receives a maceration-fermentation period and is then moved into used French oak barrels, optimizing varietal expression of the Bobal grape.

Finally, after a light filtration the wine is bottled. It is vinified without fining or cold stabilization, so natural sediments may appear in the bottle or in the glass.

Maximas can be enjoyed by all kinds of wine consumers, including vegans and vegetarians..
